Our College Preparatory Process

Here’s our step-by-step process for helping students choose a college:

I.         Initial consultation to identify strengths, weaknesses, likes, and dislikes, then set goals and facilitate student-parent understanding.

II.        Recommend high school courses to keep the student’s options open.

III.      Create a list of colleges that meets the criteria established by the student.

IV.      Provide tips on how to visit universities ; how to interview; and what to look for at college fairs.

V.        Creation of an admissions calendar and financial aid calendar.

VI.      Available to answer questions regarding acceptances, early admission, etc.

After the initial consultation, students and parents can contact us by phone or e-mail nancy@personalcollegeadvising.com. For all e-mail correspondence, we “cc” the students or parents, depending on who’s making the inquiry.
